Relief from today’s and yesterday’s brutal heat will come soon, thanks to more widespread rain and thunderstorms.
Outdoors as of 1pm on this Tuesday, it was brutally hot!
….and humid, too. Look at these heat indices!
Real Time Red Radar showed just spotty thundershowers, with the greatest coverage over southern and western Middle Tennessee.
There was also a complex of storms developing over southern Missouri, headed this way. Those storms will enter our area tonight, from the northwest.
As they do, one or two could become strong-severe with gusty wind. The most likely area to have any strong storms will be along the TN/KY line.
FUTURECAST for tonight and tomorrow shows the likely evolution of storms. Notice how a good many of us will get wet at least once during that period.
It’ll be cooler tomorrow, but even moreso on Thursday when more rain is expected. Highs then will be in the low-mid 80s. Look below for a sneak peek at tomorrow’s highs.
