It’s going to be a super Sunday for weather! Then, rain returns as the new work week begins.
Outdoors as of 7am, it’s still very comfortable. Lows overnight were in the 50s and 60s. Temperatures are still holding in the 60s, now.
We’re enjoying lots of sunshine, but later today clouds will overspread the Mid State from the west from thunderstorms in Missouri.
Even so, it’ll stay dry here. With little wind and reasonable humidity, it’ll be perfect this afternoon for the lake or pool. No thunderstorm breaks at the pool today. Woohooo!
Highs this afternoon will be in the mid 80s to lowermost 90s.
While an isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible overnight over our northwestern counties, a better rain chance arrives tomorrow. Spotty showers and storms will be possible Monday. One or two may become strong enough to produce a damaging wind gust.

Some rain will linger into Wednesday, as well. Watch News4 at 8am-9am to find out more about that. PLUS, I’ll have a preview of what I expect next weekend.
