It’s not too often that we get a “perfect 10” forecast for the *entire* weekend…. but the starts have aligned and we’ll see lower temps and lower humidity this Saturday and Sunday! We just have to get through a few stray showers this morning into afternoon.
Temperatures today will be in the mid-to-upper 80s today– right around where we should be for this time of year.
A few showers will make their way in this afternoon… but not everyone will see rain. Only a 30% chance of showers today… and most of that rain will be light, with an isolated pop-up thunderstorm possible– mainly south of I-40. Rain starts getting out of here by dinner time. Then we’re in the clear all throughout the weekend!
Here’s the timeline of today’s rain showers:
We’ll be clear this weekend, with rain chances returning overnight Sunday into Monday morning. The greatest rain chances will be on Tuesday with some storms possible.
It will be a great weekend to be outdoors. Not only will we be dry, but temperatures will also be lower… and more importantly– lower humidity! A perfect summertime weekend.
P.S. Be sure to check out the full moon tonight! This picture was sent into us from Angela from Dickson… the full moon over Luther Lake.
Enjoy the weekend!
