Early morning showers & fog has fizzled out as I sit down to write this!
7:42 AM radar update:
Nice, dry and smooth sailing..
Temperatures are warm in the upper 60s to lower 70s..
Dew points are up there in the upper 60s so it is HUMID! We have seen better days.. and more humid days.. very typical for summertime in Nashville..
Clouds will outweigh the sunshine and serve as a blanket, keeping temperatures below average! **that is NOT a typo**
Highs will only touch the mid to upper 70s along the Cumberland Plateau and upper 70s to lower 80s for the rest of the Mid State.
An upper level system brings enough moisture for spotty showers and storms this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon, fizzling out by dinnertime both days.
Here’s the timing..
The only difference between today and tomorrow will be a bump up in temperatures by a couple of degrees tomorrow, closer to average. Bright sunshine and highs near 90 by Wednesday.
