Plenty of heat & humidity are in store over the next seven days. Today was another scorcher in Nashville reaching 92. That’s several degrees above the average of 85°. Along with the heat, many folks have had some strong even severe thunderstorms to deal with, producing some hail, gusty winds and lighting. The rain and storm chance will diminish as the sun goes down.
Tomorrow more scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected across Middle Tennessee. Here’s the latest timing in the storms with Futurecast.
Like today some of those could be strong to severe. The Storm Prediction Center has Middle Tennessee in a “marginal risk” zone. That’s a 1 on a 1 to 5 scale for the likely hood of severe weather.
Wednesday through next weekend will feature mild and muggy mornings with very hot afternoons. Highs each day will be in the lower 90s with a 30%-40% chance for rain and storms in your area on most days.
