The week is off to a great start…but the heat will build over the next few days. Today the high reached 84°, but it was the humidity that made it feel more like spring than summer.
Tonight will be pleasant with just a few clouds and a low near 60°. It will be a great night to be downtown for the free “Music City Gives Back Concert” at Ascend Park behind the Amphitheater.
An area of high pressure will keep things nice again tomorrow with the heat rising a few degrees. The key is the humidity with a northerly wind the humidity will remain lower.
Wednesday and Thursday the wind kicks around to the south that will increase humidity a little and it make it even warmer with highs in the upper 80s but still rain-free. All in all the weather looks pretty good for Bonnaroo and CMA Music Fest this week.
The mugginess really makes a come back on Friday before increasing this weekend. Saturday and Sunday feature spotty showers and thunderstorms and hot.
