A refreshing change in our weather will begin to take over this afternoon and this evening. The humidity will drop, the temperature will drop, and it’ll feel more like spring as opposed to the middle of summer! Woohooo!!
Outdoors as of 9am, it’s already very warm.
It’s super muggy, too. Dew points in the 70s means it feels as humid now here as it does down in Florida!
Scattered clouds with a cold front will make for a few showers and thundershowers later, along and near the Cumberland Plateau. In the meantime (as of 9am), it’s dry.
Highs today will be in the 80s, so hot, but not as hot as yesterday when Nashville reached 92!
Take a walk this evening if you can or at least sit outdoors. You’ll surely feel the air beginning to dry out, on a developing northwest breeze (10-15 mph).
Check out lows tomorrow. They’ll mainly be in the 50s!
Tomorrow will be the coolest of the next seven days, with highs primarily in the low 80s, a light northwest breeze again, and continued low humidity.
Watch News4 at 5pm today. Cody Murphy will share the latest on weather for CMA Fest and Bonnaroo.
