Summer-like weather this week. Partly cloudy and warm weather through tomorrow. Today the afternoon high in Nashville reached 83°. Lows will be in the mid 50s by morning.
Highs tomorrow will be in the low 80s. There is a slight chance of showers along the Cumberland Plateau tomorrow afternoon, but most of us will enjoy a dry day. The weather will be terrific for the Nashville Sounds to take on the Colorado Springs Sky Sox during their home stand this week. Game time is 6:25pm.
On Wednesday and Thursday, widely scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop. Some of those storms could be strong with gusty winds and hail.
Here is the latest on the Futurecast on the timing for Wednesday. This latest run of the model is not very impressive, but Thursday will likely have more activity.
It’ll be even warmer both days with highs in the mid 80s in many communities. Friday will soar to the upper 80s with just a slight chance of rain and thunderstorms.
The hot trend continues Saturday, and Sunday It will be mainly (if not completely) dry with highs around 90 and lows in the mid 60s.
I’ll have an update on News4 at 10pm.
