A much anticipated break from the rain has arrived. This has been a beautiful day. With lots of sunshine the high reached 74° in Nashville. There is more to come. A dry front is passing by tonight. With a mostly clear sky it will turn with a low in the upper 40s. That will make for great running weather for the Rock’n’Roll Marathon in the morning.
Tomorrow lots of sunshine with highs in the lower 70s. It will be breezy with winds from the northwest 10-20 mph, with gusts to around 25 mph. Take advantage of the great weather…it will perfect to work out in the yard, take the dog for a walk, go to the Farmers Market or head to Franklin’s Main Street Festival or to Murfreesboro for Pioneer Days.
Sunday morning could feature a few spots of frost, mainly north and northeast of Nashville. Any frost that forms will be light, however. Sunday afternoon will be nice, with less wind and a high in the upper 60s.
Isolated spots of frost will be possible early Monday, too. Then, a warm-up will begin with thermometers reading in the upper 70s by afternoon. The warm up continues through the week. by Wednesday, the high should reach 84°, the warmest so far this year.
I have an update on News4 at 10pm.
