Soggy start to the week. While Nashville only received .28″ of rain, other areas had so much more, several inches in fact. It was enough to prompt flash flooding in some areas. Along with the heavy downpours came some small hail like you see here in Cross Plains.

The high today in Nashville reached 70°, near the average high of 73°.
Tonight mostly cloudy and lingering showers. Here is the latest timing on the rain tonight. The chance of thunderstorms diminishes. The heavier rain is concentrated along the Cumberland Plateau.
Tomorrow, showers will hang around during the morning. Rain becomes more widely scattered in that afternoon and less intense.
Count on lows in the 50s and highs in the 60s Tomorrow.
Wednesday will be variably cloudy, so even more communities will have at least a little sunshine. A few more showers will arrive late in the day Wednesday.
Thursday should be brighter as will early Friday before another weak system slides through with more rain showers.
Saturday and Sunday will be beautiful, so make your outdoor weekend plans now. Highs will be in the 70s, with lows in the 40s.
I’ll have the latest on the forecast on News 4 at 10pm.
