We made it Middle TN but sadly rain and possible snow showers will kick off our weekend.
Let’s hammer out the details!
For tonight be sure to bring an umbrella for any activates. A large swath of heavy rain will move in through the next few hours making for a wet ride home tonight.
Showers will continue to fall overnight but not in all areas.
A surge of cold air will move in just before dawn on Saturday helping to transition rain to sleet and snow showers. Thankfully, the chance for snow is low and accumulation, if any, looks extremely low.
The best opportunity for snow will be right where the air is coldest, the TN/KY state line.
It’ll be a small window for snow – only between about 4am to 10am.
Once the rain/sleet/snow ends by mid-day we’ll start drying out and maybe even see a little sunshine before sunset Saturday. We’ll see a lot of sun on Sunday with cool highs in the 50’s. A bit of rain early on Monday but drying out for the middle of next week with highs climbing to the………70’s!!!!!!
