I hope you enjoyed the sunshine Wednesday! I ended up being a down right beautiful afternoon here in Middle TN.
Temperatures ended up about 10 degrees below average for April but that was ok with us!
Keep the coats handy because were making a run at the low 30’s tomorrow morning. Cold enough that a Freeze Warning is in place for all of Middle TN on Thursday.
So, be sure to bring any sensitive plants indoors or at least cover them before bed tonight.
After the freezing temps fade away by mid-morning, we’re in store for 60’s Thursday afternoon.
A big dome of high pressure remains in place Thursday afternoon keeping us mainly sunny and rain free.
By Friday afternoon we’re gearing up for our next cold front and rain chance.
Severe weather is unlikely but……snow, yes snow may be.
Enough cold air on the back side of this front will help to change over rain to a mix of sleet/freezing rain and snow overnight into Saturday morning, . However, this looks most likely for areas in northern TN and southern Kentucky.
Thankfully, accumulation of snow, if any, will be confined to grassy areas and rooftops.
Regardless, it’ll be slick start in some areas waking up on Saturday.
After the rain Saturday, we dry back out for Sunday.
