March 30: Mixed Holiday Weather

Finally a break from the rain, if for only a day. This afternoon with a little sunshine, the high reached 59° in Nashville.  Clouds will continue to thin out as we head into the overnight hours. The rain is all but gone. Nashville picked up 2.19″ of rain over the past three days. Check out some of the rainfall totals over the past few days.

Temperatures will be chilly tonight with the morning lows Saturday in the 30’s. There will be some areas of frost as a result.

Saturday will be breezy but beautiful with plenty of sunshine and a just a few clouds. Saturday highs will make a run near 70 in some spots. Rain chances will be very low to begin the weekend, but by Saturday night some showers will slip into Middle Tennessee. More rain moves in on Easter Sunday. Here is the latest Futurecast timeline.

Some showers will be around for Easter Sunrise Services, just after 6:30AM.

Monday will also include a good chance of showers.
We’re also watching the potential for more stormy weather by late Tuesday. A few storms could be on the stronger side. Severe weather looks unlikely but possible in isolated locations.
