Grab the umbrella! You’ll need it all day as we see rain– very heavy at times– and even some thunderstorms throughout the afternoon and into the evening.
Because of that heavy rain, a Flood Watch is in effect for most all of the midstate until 7:00 P.M. tonight.
The rain will become heavy in the afternoon to evening time frame. Isolated thunderstorms are possible with the biggest threat being flooding.
Here’s the timeline of when you can expect rain in your area:
Rain starts to taper off late tonight into tomorrow morning. We’ll still see some showers through tomorrow afternoon but those showers will be very light. The rain won’t last for long periods of time, either…. In fact, we’ll see many breaks in the clouds, letting in some sunshine later Friday afternoon.
Rainfall totals will be roughly anywhere from 1″ to 4″… with the most rain staying toward West Tennessee:
We’re definitely in a spring-like pattern for the next few days with off and on showers.
Easter Sunday won’t be a total wash-out for any egg hunts. We will start off with a few early morning showers before turning dry and mostly cloudy and cool.
