After a gorgeous weekend, rain returns to the forecast today.
Most of us will feel some rain today… starting up this morning, moving west to east, and then showers will become scattered throughout the day. The most rain will be seen west of I-65. A second round of light, scattered showers pushes through tonight.
Temperatures will be right around average for today in the mid-50s.
With this system, there’s no extended downpours, and rain accumulation will generally be under one quarter of an inch, so no flooding concerns to be aware of… but you’ll probably want to have the umbrella handy all day today.
Here’s the timeline of the rain:
The rain pushes out of here early Tuesday morning… and really, Tuesday is shaping up to be a really nice day… dry with lots of sunshine and temperatures above-average in the low 60s for most.
The rest of next week will be a little cooler than average, but generally pleasant, and dry. Wednesday & Thursday will be the coolest days of the 7-day forecast with high temps in the mid to upper 40s and lows each night below freezing.
