The rainy day and Monday continues into the night. A second round of light, widely scattered showers pushes through tonight. With light amounts, there are no additional flooding concerns. There are still some warnings in green and advisories in blue.
Flood Advisories remain in effect for the following rivers:
Stones River near Donelson
Cumberland River near Dover
Duck River near Hurricane Mills and at Centerville
Flood Warning remains in effect for the Tennessee River at Clifton
Temperatures this afternoon were about average with the high in Nashville reaching 57° As of 5pm, Nashville had received only .04″ or rain.
Tuesday plenty of sunshine is expected, but it will be breezy. Afternoon temperatures will soar to the mid 60s. Late Tuesday into Wednesday there is a chance of a wintry mix on the northern Cumberland Plateau. For most of us it will just be mostly cloudy and cold.
Little to no accumulation is expected at this time. Colder air will be here for Wednesday with highs in the upper 40s. Morning lows Thursday and Friday will dip to at or just below freezing.
Thursday and Friday will be back to sunshine. Friday warms nicely into the upper 50s.
This weekend rain returns, but temperatures will be mild. I’ll have an update on News 4 at 10pm.
