The weekend’s upon us! Count on a sunny sky, cool afternoons, and freezing nights.
Outdoors early this morning (8am), temperatures are climbing through the 40s.
Look at the beautiful sky outdoors now!
High pressure’s sliding eastward through the Midwest, making for a light northerly wind. We’ll keep that all day.
Temperatures this afternoon will climb into the 50s, although the light breeze will make it feel cooler.
The Nashville Lawn and Garden Show continues this weekend. We’ll have perfect weather tomorrow to go check it out at the Nashville Fairgrounds. Hours tomorrow are 10am until 7pm. Late afternoon temperatures tomorrow will be in the upper 50s.
The SEC Women’s Tournament happens at Bridgestone Arena this weekend. Tomorrow at 2pm, they’ll host the Downtown Dribble just outside the arena. In the Downtown Dribble, kids (5-14 yrs of age) who partake will get a free t-shirt and basketball. They’ll dribble a short distance around the arena. If you have young children, this could be a fun event for them!
Notice rain returns Monday and lingers into Tuesday. Chilly weather moves in for Wednesday and Thursday.
Join me later today on News4 at Noon. I’ll share the latest on the rivers, letting you know where the flood threat has subsided.
