The next two days will be mostly rainy. Then, as we dry out temperatures will skyrocket!
As of 9:00am today, rain’s sliding southeastward through Middle Tennessee.
Look at all the rain that’s still approaching from the north. Truthfully, the bark with that is a lot worse than the bite, as the most significant part of that precipitation will pass northeast of us.
Temperatures are cooling quickly as the rain arrives.
FUTURECAST shows how the rain will progress today. By late afternoon, just a few showers will be left over, mainly east of Nashville.
Temperatures this afternoon will be in the 40s….
In some spots, it’ll feel like the 30s!
Tomorrow, even more rain will arrive. It should reach Nashville between 8am and 9am. Rain will last about 6 hours (or so) tomorrow once it reaches your area.
Tomorrow night will be chilly, but drier. Sunday looks much nicer. It’ll turn partly sunny then, with highs around 60!
Sunday night, more showers will move through. Then, windy and very warm weather develops Monday and Tuesday.
Join us on News4 at noon today. I’ll have another update on where today’s rain is then and when tomorrow’s will move through.
