The rain will cause some ponding on roads, so beware of those big puddles that can cause hydroplaning. Here is the latest Futurecast timing on this rain.  It will effect the drive for many people. The pink represents some sleet and snow mixing in as the colder air moves into the area. This shouldn’t cause any problems on the roads.

Cooler air will take over tomorrow afternoon, with partial clearing. Notice the temperatures will be cooler to the north and warmer to the south in the afternoon. The cold air will continue to spread that night and everyone will be in the 20s by Thursday morning. Freezing fog could be a problem that morning as a result of the very cold air.
