Another day of pleasant temps for January… we’ll be nearly 10 degrees above average today with highs in the mid to upper 50s. Yesterday’s rain will push out by late morning/early afternoon…. along with decreasing clouds…. making way for sunshine later today and clear skies tonight.
It will be a colder start to the morning tomorrow. We’ll have a mix of sun and clouds… before clouds build later in the evening.
Snow flurries are possible on Monday evening– mainly in the Cumberland Plateau.
Light rain showers will switch over to sleet/freezing rain, then eventually snow, as temperatures drop to below freezing.
Here’s the timeline:
Even though the next 4 days will be cold, we’ll have sunshine. Enjoy that while it lasts…. new models show a system moving in by Thursday… brining with it some rain and even a rain/snow mix Friday morning. Stay tuned for details on that!
Have a great Sunday!
