A front is headed this way bringing rain for tomorrow. Today the high reached 62° with help from lots of sunshine and a strong south wind. More clouds roll in tonight, but it won’t be as cold. This morning we dropped to 34°.
On Saturday, expect spotty showers early, transitioning to a period of steady rain during the late afternoon, evening, and overnight. Rain will exit early Sunday. If you have to do anything outside, the earlier you can get it done, the better or wait until Sunday. Here is the latest timing with Futurecast.
Temperatures will be remain above average by January standards, but some cooler air is on the way for the beginning of next week.
Monday and Tuesday will be chilly, with a few flurries possible northeast of Nashville on Monday.
Then, Wednesday will be milder, I would say it’s the best day of the work week. Another winter system is on the way late next week. On Thursday, rain will return, potentially turning to a brief period of snow before ending Thursday night or early Friday. I’ll have an update on News 4 at 10pm.
