A front passes through the mid-state and that means big changes in the temperature. It has felt like spring, but tomorrow is a wake up call with temperatures back closer to average. Today the high reached 63°. Rain moved across early today and just a few showers have lingered into the evening. With a little sunshine out today, Cindy in Ashland City captured this beautiful rainbow.
The sky will clear and the temperatures will fall behind today’s front, but because this is not an Arctic air mass the temperatures will not be as cold as last week. By morning the temperature will drop to 40°.
Tomorrow looks chilly with highs only rising to the mid 40s, it will be variably cloudy and breezy.
In the Big Picture an area of Low pressure will move north of the mid state, it will bring a few more clouds back in Tomorrow. Late Tuesday as the Low exits it could splash a few snow showers across the upper Cumberland Plateau.
Temperatures moderate toward the end of the week, rising to the low 60s by Friday. It will be mostly sunny Wednesday to Friday.
Rain is likely again on Saturday with a few showers early Sunday. I’ll have an update on the forecast on News 4 at 10pm.
