More spring-like temperatures in store for us today… reaching high temperatures in the mid 60s once again! Wow!
Get out and enjoy while you can…. rain is on the way!
By Monday morning, we’ll see our next weather maker moving into the midstate. This system will bring widespread rain and even some possible thunderstorms for some– mainly south of I-40 and east of I-65.
Here’s the latest timeline:
We will see anywhere from .01″ to a half inch of rain throughout the midstate with this next storm system. Here are the forecasted rainfall totals so far:
Behind Monday’s rain comes a cold front. You can see the difference in tonight’s overnight low compared to tomorrow’s. On Tuesday, we’ll reach a more seasonable high temperature in the upper 40s. Wednesday brings in more 50s through the weekend with sunshine.
