**4WARN WEATHER ALERT in effect today and tomorrow.**
A deceiving start to our morning! Refreshing sunshine and seasonably chilly temperatures in the upper 20s to lower 30s.
Some big changes are on the way, and in the very near future. A cold front just off to our northwest is headed out of Missouri into the Mid State. This will bring snow and hazardous driving conditions, starting as soon as late this afternoon for our northwestern counties.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY remains in effect starting today at 3pm for areas west of I-65, lasting as late as 6 PM on Tuesday for areas east of I-65.
Let’s dive into the timing…
With fresh data just in, I just pieced together my latest snowfall predictions across the region. In general 1″ of snowfall accumulation can be expected with local amounts up to 2″. This is through Tuesday late afternoon…
The commute will be slippery and hazardous early tomorrow morning for most so please.. if you have to be on the roads, take it extra easy and go S-L-O-W!
Check out our temperature seesaw! Much cooler air behind this cold front will keep temperatures well below freezing so what ever is on the ground, will remain frozen..
Join me on News 4 for the latest on the snow timing and any updates I make to how much snow I expect over the next 24 hours.
