A deck of clouds to the rescue! They served as a blanket overnight bringing noticeably warmer temperatures this morning, in the teens!
Satellite imagery (basically a view from space) confirms a nice clearing from west to east so we will see more sunshine filtering in throughout the day.
Temperatures are running in the teens at 8:55am here…warmer then the 5 Nashville woke up to yesterday!
Highs will also run warmer than the 27 we hit yesterday, in the upper 30s this round. Enjoy because this is brief!
A rush of arctic air returns as soon as tomorrow with highs only touching the mid/upper 20s through Friday. Saturday will be nice but chilly in the upper 30s. Showers arrive as soon as late on Sunday but with a warm up in store, no s-n-o-w, just plain ol’ rain into Monday!
I’ll have an update on this fast approaching arctic blast and the timing of the rain coming up on News 4 at noon today!
Let’s make it a great day!
