A cloudy and mild start to the day! Besides areas of drizzle and wet roams due to earlier passing showers, we remain quiet and dry across the Mid State. It’s all lingering moisture from a passing system that brought widespread rain to the area early yesterday morning.
Expect a break here and there with clouds but they’ll be stubborn throughout the day. This will serve as a blanket between the sun and ground, keeping temperatures in the mid 50-degree range…so not much warmer than what you feel right now.
Our next weather maker over southeastern Texas is already on the road northeast, headed our way by Tuesday evening.
They’ll initially impact our southern counties, turning widespread as they move north into the night.
It won’t be an all day event on Wednesday. In fact, I expect most of the rain to push out by early afternoon! Very nice.
Brief breakthrough of sunshine and warmer lower 60s arrive on Thursday before round #2 of unsettled weather arrives by Friday.
I’ll have an update on the timing of this train of systems coming up at noon today. Hope you join me!
