A morning for an extra large cup of hot cocoa! Temperatures in the lower 20s felt as cold as the lower teens. The bright side, this picture right here –>
Refreshing sunshine. It is already at work with warming things up, low to upper 30s at 9:53 am here.
Daytime highs will climb into the mid to upper 50s but the key player in what it really feels like today, points to the wind department. With sustained southwesterly winds between 15 and 25 mph, and wind gusts up to 35 even 40 mph, it will only feel as warm as the lower 40s.
A Wind Advisory is in effect today from noon until 6 PM. Driving will be challenging at times, particularly for high profile vehicles driving from a west to east (or vice versa_ direction. Any loose objects or Christmas decorations around the house should be tied up!
Increasing clouds with an approaching cold front as soon as tonight but not enough moisture to squeeze any precipitation out of them. The main impact from the front will be in the temperature department as soon as tomorrow. Highs will only touch the low to mid 40s Thursday and Friday.
Our next chance for showers hold off until the weekend. I’ll have the latest on the timing coming up at noon today. Hope you join me!
