Wowow! The stubborn clouds over Nashville are officially out the door and just in time for some fun weekend plans outdoors.
Temperatures are warming quickly because of it — upper 40s to lower 50s and it’s only 9:09 AM.
Expect another mild day with highs running their course in the lower 60-degree range.
Increasing clouds with a weak approaching upper level system. No showers expected to squeeze out of the clouds so a flashing green light for any Friday evening plans out and about. If you’re looking for some fun, the Metro Christmas Tree Lighting is happening from 6pm to 7pm at Public Square. Megan Megan Barry will be there! You’ll want at least a jacket with temperatures around 52 degrees.
The delightful weather carries on! Nashville Christmas Parade is tomorrow morning and the weather could not be more perfect. Low 60s at the start, around 8:30 am and low 50 to finish around 10:30am. This sweet picture below is a capture of Dan Thomas’ beautiful wife Deanna and sweet little boy enjoying the parade from the past. Too cute.
Sunday will be perfect football weather for the Titans to take on the Houston Texans! game starts at noon at the Nissan Stadium. Count on plenty of sunshine with a game start time temperature of 59 degrees.
Our next decent chance for rain holds off until Tuesday of next week. This is a strong cold front that will significantly impact temperatures — talking lower 40s for a daytime high and sub-freezing overnight lows. I’ll talk more on the timing coming up at noon today. Hope you join me!
