After a delightful weekend, radiant sunshine greets us into the start of a new week. Upper 20s to lowers 30s are warming up quickly because of it!
8:29am as I look at the clock here and temperatures are touching the upper 30s to lower 40s around town…
An area of high pressure keeps the sunshine and clear skies going through the first half of our week! Enjoy!
Southerly winds combine with the sunshine to pull in warmer highs in the lower 60s by around 3 to 4 pm.
If you’re looking for some fun with the family this evening, head on out to the state capitol to watch the Christmas Tree Lightning ceremony. The lights will turn on around 5:55 pm or so but you can head down around 5 pm. You’ll need a jacket as temperatures start out in the upper 50s at 5 pm, dropping into the lower 50s by 7 pm.
Warmer and dry days are ahead through Wednesday! Expect mid to upper 60s on Tuesday and Wednesday. Our next chance for showers return on Thursday, which drops daytime highs into the upper 50s Thursday through the entire weekend.
I’ll have updates on our shower chances on Thursday coming up on News 4 at noon today. Hope you join me!
