Weekend travel (home) forecast

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday!  Hard to believe it’s already over and we have to get back to reality Monday.  If you’re traveling from out of town, be prepared for lots of traffic on the roads and in the air tomorrow.  However- the weather looks like it will be cooperating for most all of the country this year…   Hey, there’s a first time for everything 😉

A cold front moved in late last night, dropping our temperature tonight into the upper 30s (brrr!)  but that front brought with it some dry air and clear skies… so no rain in the forecast for the next several days!  If you’re traveling by air– I’m not expecting any delays into Nashville International Airport (well… no delays caused by the weather, that is!) And the road forecast looks good, too!

Travel forecast

Sunday will be the cooler half of the weekend. Although we remain dry and very sunny, highs will only reach the upper 50s and lows will be in the low to mid-30s again.

But a warm up is on the way!  By Monday afternoon, we’ll climb back up into the 60s and stay in the 60s through most all of the week.  The next weather maker moves in Wednesday night into Thursday morning, but it’s just a 30% chance of rain at the moment. I don’t think it will be anything more than light showers and mainly affecting the western counties of the midstate.
