There are 4 things you should know about our weather. They are…
1) Big Warm Up on this Veterans Day
After a very cold start this morning, we’ll have a big warm up on this Veterans Day! Look at temperatures as of 7am…
Through the morning, a southeast wind will get established and increase to 15 mph at times. That, coupled with some sunshine, will boost us up to 61 degrees this afternoon in Nashville.
Here’s the forecast for the Nashville Veterans Day parade.
Highs this afternoon will look like this…
The clouds that’ll move through at times through the day are now over Arkansas. There’s no rain or snow with that system, so it’ll be dry from start to finish.
2) A Few Showers Tomorrow
Tomorrow, a slight rain chance returns. In general, it’s 20-30%. Take a look at FUTURECAST.
The system moving through will be moisture starved…so weather for the Titans/Bengals game should be mostly (if not completely) dry. If it does rain, the showers won’t last long.
3) Seasonable Week Ahead
Temperatures will be typical of mid-late fall this week. On average, we’ll have highs in the low 60s and lows in the 40s. The average high is 62 today. The average low is 41.
Here’s the forecast for the next seven days…
4) Windy with Thunderstorms Possible Late Friday
As you may have noticed above on the 7-Day Forecast, Friday feel springlike. Late in the day, showers and thunderstorms will move in. Since we’re still a week away, we all know the timing may change a bit. As for now though we’re going with the best chance time for rain to be Friday night. Stay tuned for updates in the days to come.
