Happy first day of November!
Unfortunately, it’s a wet start to the new month… but our temperatures are getting back on track to be close to average for this time of the year. Unsettled weather will stick around until the second half of the weekend, so don’t put the umbrella away just yet.
(9:15 A.M.) One batch of rain is moving out of the midstate this morning, but more rain is behind it. Expect spotty showers throughout late afternoon… before a break in the rain until after dinner time.
As the rain moves in, it will bring with it warmer air, but nothing like we saw this time last year. On this day in 2016, we set a record for the hottest November 1st in history at 88°! This year, we’re only topping out in the upper 60s for the high temperature.
Be prepared for isolated showers to stick around through Saturday. The drier air seems to come back in on Sunday (better day of the weekend) and Monday… before another round of showers and lingering cool air for the start of the next work week.
