Trick and Treat on this Halloween

Weather was a treat today, the high 59 with lots of sunshine.  Tonight is cool for the kiddos in search of candy, but overnight rain will move in. It’s a great night for the big kids to have some fun too. Several of the News 4 staff participated in the annual costume contest. I did if for the first time and actually won. Check out my wind sock creation.

That’s me 3rd from the left.  My daughter actually came up with this idea and completed the costume with a friend. Thank you Ali.

Lucy was entered in the pet photo contest.  She lost to a dog dress as a beer can, but I think she made a great bat dog. So serious looking.

Now back to the weather, things get a little tricky overnight as the rain moves in. Most of that should roll in after midnight.

The morning drive will be wet, so plan according.  You may want to leave a few minutes early and take your patience.

The drive home looks a little better, with some breaks in the clouds.  The unsettled pattern last all week with more on and off rain in the forecast through the weekend.  No day will be a washout, but there will be showers each day in some part of the mid state.

Reminder, that we are still collecting coats for Warm Coats from Warm Hearts.  We only have a week or so to go.  You can drop off gently used coats at Acceptance Insurance, Firestone and Granny White Church of Christ.

I’ll have an update on the weather on News 4 at 10pm.  Plus I may model my Halloween costume.
