No need to head to McDonald’s for a frosty this morning when we all woke up to one from Mother Nature on our windshields! See what I did there? 🙂
Loving all the photos you all have been sending my way — 99.9% of your windshields!
Clear skies, light winds & temps at or below freezing for most are the perfect ingredients for frost & our first freeze of the fall season!
Freeze Warning remains in effect for all areas under the PURPLE shade through 9 AM this morning…
Patchy freezing fog has developed across areas under the yellow color, with visibility down to one mile in those areas. Please take it extra easy if your commute takes you through there!
Cold this morning but much warmer finish to the day! yesterday, Nashville only hit 48 for a high yesterday. Today, we’ll be right back to average, in the upper 60s. You’ll notice a breeze picking up in the afternoon and an increase in cloud cover — all thanks to a dry passing cold front…no rain anticipated with this.
The better chance for rain arrives late Tuesday night (after trick-or-treating plans), with an unsettled stretch through Saturday. No washouts but a chance for spotty storms each day. Just keep an umbrella handy! A friendly reminder to change your clocks BACK one hour before going to sleep on Saturday night, as Daylight savings officially comes to an end! We all get one extra hour of sleep…score!
