Windy Wednesday! It felt even cooler than the 59° high with the wind whipping up today. Things started out on a chilly note in Nashville with 42°. The sun was out though making for a beautiful autumn day. The color of the season is starting to appear.
Tonight will be another cold one. 40° in Nashville but even cold in the Upper Cumberland area. That is where a Frost Advisory is in effect tonight.
Temperatures will warm tomorrow afternoon with a south wind and sunshine, expect a high near 71°. Friday will be equally as warm, but clouds will roll in during the afternoon ahead of the next front. Rain will closely follow. Here’s the latest Futurecast depiction:
As you can see the rain lingers into Saturday morning.
Much cooler air spills in on the back side of the front, so the temperatures will drop again. It will be so cold, some of the higher elevations could squeeze out a snowflake.
The second half of Saturday will be drier. Sunday remains chilly but generally dry. I’m adding in a 20% chance of a shower.
