Boom! Another refreshing & beautiful start to our morning!
We have abundant sunshine but it doesn’t feel very sunny with temperatures in the 30s & 40s. This has led to the development of patchy frost in spots this morning.
Unlike our previous cooler starts, don’t anticipate much of a warm up today with highs only touching the upper 50s, a good six degrees below average.
Clear skies will lead to another round of mid to upper 30s again overnight. We’ll have the ingredients for patchy frost developing once again. You’ll want to keep the sensitive vegetation covered!
Back to the lower 70s by tomorrow and Friday! Feeling like a roller coaster yet? Warm coats to t-shirts in the matter pf 24 hours. An approaching system brings a decent chance for rain late on Friday into Saturday. This brings a sharp turn in daytime highs, from the lower 70s on Friday to the lower 50s all weekend long. A drier pattern works its way in by Sunday, with highs back to average in the lower 60s by Monday.
Surviving the Storm is here! Our first one of the season takes place in Pleasant View at Good Springs Church at 7:00 pm. Doors open at 6. Your 4WARN weather team looks forward to meeting and shaking your hand in person — teaching you how to prepare for severe weather while having fun handing out prizes at the same time.
Have a wonderful day!
