Beautiful! Refreshing blue skies, low humidity and chilly temperatures in the lower 40s around town…
Dense fog has been the story for some — visibility still (7:52 am) struggles, down to 1/2 mile & even 1/4 mile in and around Cookeville and Columbia. Take caution if your morning commune take you through those areas.
Mid to upper 30s along the Cumberland Plateau are the coolest spots. Areas west…low to mid 40s.
Plenty of sunshine will warm things up quickly today, sitting comfortable on average in the lower 70s by the afternoon.
A quick reminder! Our Surviving the Storm, free weather safety show is upcoming. Mark the calendar for October 26th and November 2nd. Our weather team hopes to meet you in person, teach you how to prepare for severe weather and answer any questions you may have. It’s always a great time!
Back to the 7-Day! I think you might love it. Delightful sunshine carrie son through Saturday before spotty showers return Sunday into Tuesday of next week. The main impact from this system will be in the temperature department. Low 80s on Saturday cool down into the upper 60s by Tuesday.
Have a wonderful day!
