October 11: Finally Fall-Like, Nerd-Links


The cloud cover was stubborn across much of the Midstate today, but at least we’re finally experiencing some cooler and drier air!  The drop in humidity alone is cause enough for celebration…

We’ll just see partial clearing overnight, with some patchy dense fog possible after midnight as temperatures drop to the low to mid 50s:

The fog and low clouds will slowly erode throughout the morning, with temperatures reaching the low to mid 70s Thursday afternoon, once the sun breaks through:

Back up to around 80° on Friday, then high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s will return Saturday and Sunday, with increasing humidity (ugh) as well:

Our next chance of rain arrives late Sunday — that system will allow temperatures to return to close to normal by early next week:
