Boom of Sunshine, Cooler Days and Lower Humidity

Wop, there it is! Good morning, sunshine! Not long ago, these blue skies were covered with clouds. Sunshine continues breaking through from west to east.

The same cold front that caused flash flooding and even some severe storms across the areas yesterday, has offically pushed out! VIDEO VIPIR

The clouds you may see and mugginess you feel, only improves as the front continues sliding southeast away from us!

Dew points in the upper 60s to lower 70s currently (9:04am)…very humid place to be…WSMV DMA DEWPOINT STILL1

    Thanks to the last few days being pretty hot, this August, as of yesterday, was, for the first time, just a notch above the average. However, with different forecast models indicating milder conditions for, at least, the week ahead, it appears that our historic 18-month long stretch of above-normal temperatures will come to an end, after all. I’m sure that most folks would welcome a break from the epic Heat streak.
