Looks like a nice day today for doing things outdoors…then, a better rain chance arrives as soon as tomorrow.
Outdoors on this Wednesday morning, it’s mostly sunny and pleasant.
Temperatures are in the 70s for the most part as of 10am.
Humidity is in check with dew points in the 60s. That’s not too bad for mid summer.
This afternoon, just a few showers and thunderstorms will develop. Most that pop up will do so along and south of Interstate 40. The most likely area to get rain today will be over southern Middle Tennessee, where there’s more moisture in the air.
SO…if you’re day involves some gardening, remember it’ll be coolest over the next few hours.
High temperatures this afternoon should look like this.
The Williamson County Fair continues tonight. It runs from 6pm until 10pm, although the midway will stay open until 11pm. Chances are good it’ll remain rain-free.
Notice tomorrow and Friday, we’ll have a better chance for showers and thunderstorms. In general, we’ll be looking at a 40% rain chance.
Join us later today on News 4 for a look at how a developing unsettled pattern will affect at least part of this upcoming weekend.
