Notice, not AS hot on Sunday and it all has do with an approaching system currently over the central plains. Spotty showers and storms are possible on Saturday but the better chance for clouds, rain and storms arrive on Sunday, mainly a second half of the day event.DD SATRAD3D Zooms

The Storm Prediction Center has a ‘Marginal Risk’ (level 1 out of 5) for any storm to reach severe criteria. Damaging winds will be the greatest threat with some of the stronger storms.WSMV 7 Day AM

Showers and storms stick around on Monday before spotty storms linger into Tuesday. This is fantastic news for those that are ready for a break from the heat! Seasonable upper 80s return by early next week.
