It’s going to be a hot, dry day in Smashville, as we get fired up for Game #6 of the Stanley Cup Final and CMA Music Fest & Bonnaroo draw to a close. The return of storms, however, is only 24 hours away!
Outdoors early on this Sunday morning (as of 7:25am), it’s sunny in nearly all areas.
There are just a few clouds streaming in from the south.
Temperatures are rising quickly. We started in the low-mid 60s.
It’s more humid this morning, too…
SO…if you’re venturing outside for an extended amount of time today, whether it be for one of the events above, going to the pool, lake, or somewhere else, be sure to take these precautions so you beat the heat….as opposed to the heat beating you!
This is what I’m expecting down at The Farm for the final day of Bonnaroo.
For CMA Music Fest:
If you’ll attend a watch party for the Preds tonight, plan on an evening that’s slow to cool…
Tomorrow, deeper moisture will build in from the Deep South. That’ll help give rise to pop-up showers and thunderstorms. Most that form will develop in the time window from noon until 8pm.
Little change is expected down the road, too….although Wednesday – Friday will bring about a slightly higher chance for rain.
Be sure to watch Channel 4 News tonight at 5pm and 10pm. We’ll have special Nashville Predators coverage. Game #6 of the Stanley Cup Final will also air right here on Channel 4, NBC!
Go Preds!!
