June 9: Great Weather This Weekend!

Temperatures started off in near-record territory this morning — the official low in Nashville was 54°, just 3° above today’s record:

The warm-up starts to kick in today — we’ll see lots of sunshine, with high temperatures topping out in the low to mid 80s this afternoon:

Even better, dew points will be in the 50s today AND tomorrow — right where we want to be on the “Muggy Meter”:

Temperatures will drop back to the upper 50s and low 60s by early Saturday morning…not quite as cool as this morning, but still quite pleasant:

Hotter weather settles in over the weekend, but the humidity won’t be too bad, even with a little more mugginess on Sunday.  High temperatures will top out around 90° both Saturday and Sunday, with the dry weather continuing:

Yeah, it will be hot — but that’s still really cooperative weather for CMA Fest, Bonnaroo, AND for Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final on Sunday.

The humidity will be back next week, which means a chance of spotty showers and thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoons and early evenings.  Temperatures will still be above-average, reaching the upper 80s to around 90° most of the week:

No nerd-links today, since even my science-news sources were in full Comey-coverage mode yesterday…the nerdiness will be back on Monday.  Enjoy the weekend!
