Preds’ Watch Parties, CMA Fest & Bannaroo

Today has been nothing short of glory! Whether you’re heading downtown for the Preds’ watch parties or CMA fest, the weather is on your side.

Our four-legged loyal Channel 4 viewer, Luca was rocking his new Preds’ T-shirt as he enjoyed the sunshine. Looking very handsome, Luca.

Another beauty snap by our very own Channel 4 director Jessie, taken out at Bell Meade. Love it! 🙂DD PICTURE

Temperatures have been unseasonably chilly today but perfectly comfortable, in the mid to upper 70s. Currently (5:37 pm) sitting anywhere from the upper 60s to upper 70s around town.WSMV DMA TEMPS ZOOM1_EffectSquiggle Autoplot

If you’re just heading out to catch a party yourself, here’s how things shape up…

PREDS 2

Dew points in the 50s are the reason why it FEELS so nice and refreshing out there. We have through Saturday to enjoy low humidity before it creeps back in by Sunday. Early next week will be a noticeable difference.WSMV DMA DEWPOINT STILL1

High pressure is the reason for the season! Skies will be bright and blue through Sunday.VIDEO VIPIR

The only difference will be the return of toasty 90s, all thanks to a southerly flow.

We’ll hold off on the 90s for at least one more day. In fact, daytime highs will run right around average on Friday, in the lower 80-degree range. CMA Fest will be rocking with radiant sunshine and again, low humidity (key). I’ll be there for my first CMA experience and really looking forward to it.CMA2

CMA Fest won’t be the only popular thing in town. If you’re headed to Bannaroo Music & Arts Festival, the weather is looking fantastic. Highs will touch the lower 80s and your evening temperature will be nice and comfortable in the upper 70s. Enjoy!

Here’s a peak at our 7-Day…

7 Day PM

Our first chance for an isolated shower holds off until Monday. Tuesday through Thursday brings a few spotty showers & storms…not a washout by any means. One thing each day will have in common: the heat! A friendly reminder to stay hydrated my friends!
