1) Rain’s likely in waves through tomorrow!
Clouds have expanded overnight as our next weather system moves into Middle Tennessee. While there will be a little sunshine in many areas at times today, clouds will easily win out.
This is the view as of 7:45am in various parts of the Mid State.
4WARN Live Doppler Radar shows some rain, sliding east-northeastward. Lightning/thunder are limited. It’s mainly just rain, with some embedded downpours.
Look farther southwest. Notice the additional clusters of showers to move in through the day?
SO….rain will fall at times today, but certainly not all day.
Temperatures now are around 70. This afternoon, with all the clouds and rain we’ll have highs in the lowermost 80s.
Take a look at FUTURECAST through tomorrow afternoon.
2) Rain will be exiting during Monday’s Predators Broadway Smash Bash Party.
Notice how tomorrow evening, rain will continue to exit to the south. While there could be a shower or two as people gather downtown before Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final, by game time the rain chance will be even lower. I’d be very surprised if there’s any rain in/around Nashville by the end of the game, too.
3) Gorgeous weather takes over for midweek!
The middle of this week looks tremendous! We’ll have more sunshine, lower humidity, pleasantly warm afternoons (around 80) and cool sunrises (in the 50s). Try to spend as much time outdoors as you can then. You’ll be glad you did!
4) Mostly dry weather sets up for a week to follow.
Farmers in the area have been reaching out to me to find a good time to cut hay (i.e. when I anticipate many consecutive dry days).
It looks like this stretch coming up, beginning with Tuesday, will work great. There’s the slightest shower/storm chance on Saturday. After that, we’ll likely have to wait until Tuesday, June 13th, for our next decent chance at rain and thunderstorms. SO…happy cutting!
