Stanley Cup Final Forecast & Sunday Storms

Today is the day! Game #3 of the Stanley cup and our first home game, hosting the Pittsburgh Penguins. The atmosphere downtown is ELECTRIC! I’ve been eyeing our live cams (and radar) all evening long. Here’s how it looks minutes before the puck drops…

No lack of support! The ‘hot’ topic today has been the HEAT & humidity combo. Upper 80s for a high and still hanging strong to the 90-degree ball park as I type here (6:58 pm). Hopefully folks downtown take our advice and stay hydrated!

Here’s how your game forecast shapes up…partly cloudy, humid, warm & dry…

The few showers/storms Middle Tennessee does have, remains to the southwest, close to Linden and Lawrenceburg. They are on a northerly path but well west of Nashville to impact the downtown area…

VIDEO RADAR

Showers and storms quickly return by late morning on Sunday, lingering into a good chunk of Monday. As of now, severe weather is not expected and it will not be a washout…a day to have the umbrella handy, though.

After Monday, there will be no lack of sunshine…ALL WEEK LONG! Any outdoor plans are a two thumbs up through Friday! Our first chance of an isolated shower arrives by Saturday. Not bad at all. Besides that, break out the T-shirt and flip flops. Daytime highs will range anywhere form the low to upper 80s each and every day. 🙂7 Day PM

I’ll have updates on shower and storm timing coming up on Channel 4 at 10 PM tonight.

In the mean time, enjoy the game! GOOOO PREDS!
