Weekend to Remember for Weather

Once in a while, you strike gold with the weather on a weekend.  This will be one of those weekends!

Clouds are still exiting to the southern tier early this morning (as of 7:45am).  Notice it’s just the southern two dozen or so counties where cloud cover remains.

This is the way it looks in many of our other communities now.

Outdoors now, temperatures are right around the average for early-mid May….

It will be a little breezy today, so if you’re going to set up a tent, make sure it’s tied down well.  ALSO, ladies, hold on to that hat!

The Nashville Sounds are hosting the Albuquerque Isotopes tonight at First Tennessee Park.  WOW, is it going to be nice!

Tomorrow, for Mother’s Day, few words are needed!  It’ll be perfect, with sunshine and a nice warm finish…

I’ve had some questions recently about cutting hay.  Many farmers are getting anxious to get it done.  If it didn’t rain on you too much in the last 48 hours, this upcoming stretch of weather might work well for you.  A chance for rain won’t return until Wednesday and even then, it’ll be very low.

I’ll have more on what to expect down the road, shortly– between 9am and 10am — on Channel 4 News Today.  Please join us!
