The beautiful weather over the last couple of days will continue. However, it’s going to get hotter!
Outdoors now, we’re all enjoying a mix of clouds and sunshine.
Temperatures are well above their Sunday peak levels (when we hit 73 for a high). Notice a warm front is passing through the Mid State (see below), on its way toward the northeast. Behind that front, it’s not only warmer. It’s also slightly more humid.
As that front continues its northeastward push, it’ll interact with a little cloud system diving toward us from the Midwest. See it below?
Right now, that system’s producing very little rain. As it rolls into our area this evening and interacts with the warm front, it’ll kick off a few showers, mainly well northeast of Nashville.
SO…weather for the Nashville Sounds game this evening will be beautiful!
Notice how little rain we’re anticipating overnight. FUTURECAST here is doing a nice job!
Tomorrow, in the wake of that warm front, it’ll turn quite a bit hotter. Check out Tuesday afternoon’s projected high temperatures:
More heat will follow down the road….then some rain. We’ll tell you more about that, PLUS have the latest on weather for Mother’s Day and Steeplechase this evening on Channel 4 News, beginning at 4pm. Get comfy on the couch, kick back, and join us!
