Gosh, what an incredible weekend! We’ve had a few spotty storms, particularly for areas south of I-40 but things ONLY improve from this point forward.
Check out this beauty, sent to me by our editor Ralph. He always takes the best pictures and shares them. Always appreciated. If you’d like me to share yours on the air, please post them on my Facebook wall, tweet them, or post to PIX.WSMV.COM.
Before I dive in to the forecast, here’s what made it to my headline board…
Not bad, huh?
Temps are running all over the place today. More sunshine = warmer! So, you do the math…
Any clouds you see overhead will only diminish going into the overnight. Since clouds serve as a blanket to keep things warmer overnight, we will see the opposite! Far cooler then average, only in the lower 40-degree range. You’ll need a jacket in the AM but you can break out the T-shirts by the afternoon as highs warm up into the upper 60s to lower 70s.
If you’re looking for some fun festivities with your family, head on over to Nissan Stadium for Nashville Taco Fest! From eating competitions to mariachi bands to taco food trucks, you won’t want to miss out. It starts at 12 pm and lasts through 8 pm. Weather could not be more favorable. Bright sunshine all day, light winds and comfortable temperatures.
Ready for more good news? Sunshine is here to stay for awhile and it’s all thanks to a large dome of high pressure…
Check out the 7-Day…sunshine, sunshine, sunshine then more sunshine before clouds, rain and storms roll in Wednesday and Thursday. How about the temp department? Each day brings warmer temps — low to mid 80 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Triple score…that is, if you like the warmth!
I’ll go more in depth with this coming up on Channel 4 at 10 tonight! Hope you join me. 🙂
