Clouds, fog, mist, drizzle, and showers are all in place now. They’ll linger through today. Tomorrow though will turn brighter and milder!
Outdoors now, this is the way it looks in Nashville…
Clarksville isn’t much better…
Murfreesboro’s stuck in clouds & is damp.
All other spots shown here are just the same.
Temperatures are seasonable, but it feels cooler outdoors now because of how warm this spring has been.
4WARN Live Doppler (as of 7:30am) shows we just have scattered showers. Over northeastern Middle Tennessee, the rain coverage is a little more solid. There, we have a Flood Advisory in effect until 8:15am (for Overton, Pickett, Cumberland, Van Buren, White, Putnam, & Fentress counties).
Flood Warnings remain in effect due to all the rain we’ve had recently for the Duck River at Centerville & the Buffalo River at Lobelville. Expect water to be out of the river banks in these areas. Steer clear until it recedes this week.
Notice all the clouds outdoors from above.
Because of that clouds will linger in our area all day. Because of that, temperatures will struggle to rise.
Most areas will have highs in the 50s.
FUTURECAST shows how rain showers will redevelop through the day, so keep a jacket and umbrella nearby.
Tomorrow, the slow-moving weather system that’s affected our weather over the last few days will finally move out. SO….we’ll see a gradual decrease in clouds as we get into the afternoon. Temperatures will jump up into the upper 60s because of that!
Down the road, notice how nice Tuesday looks. Then, late Wednesday, storms will return. We’ll talk more about these things and discuss the likelihood for severe weather over the next seven days coming up soon, on Channel 4 News Today (from 8am until 9am).
